What is Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) and why does it matter for cosmetics manufacturing?
ZLD means no liquid waste leaves our facility untreated. A low-temperature crystallizer system treats and recycles all liquid waste in-house, eliminating third-party waste disposal and reusing treated water in production. It removes a major water-pollution risk common in personal care manufacturing.
Is RSPO-certified palm oil actually more sustainable than alternatives?
As RSPO members, we source palm oil only from certified sustainable producers audited against deforestation, biodiversity, and community-impact criteria, a verifiable alternative to unregulated palm sourcing, and generally a lower-impact feedstock than many synthetic surfactant alternatives.
What does 'eco-formulation' mean in practice?
It means biodegradable surfactants, natural actives, and responsible ingredient sourcing are built into formulation development from the brief stage, not added as a marketing layer after a product is finalised.
Are sustainable formulations and packaging available for private label programs?
Yes. Recyclable materials, refill-compatible dispensers, and biodegradable or RSPO-sourced formulations are available across body care, hair care, bar soap, and hotel amenity private label programs.
